Phoenix Theatre dancers at the Stonehaven Harbour Festival

Phoenix Theatre were delighted to once again perform at the MRI Stonehaven Habour Festival.

The Festival was started by the Maritime Rescue Institute to help raise awareness and funds enabling them to continue providing their world renowned service.

Our young stars entertained the crowds with our popular Alice in Wonderland cabaret as the glorious sunshine shone down on everyone.

Wet, windy and wonderful Bling Fling

It may have been a wet and windy day for a walk, but Phoenix Theatre on hand to help out in any way at this year's Bling Fling event at Duthie Park.

In what has become an annual tradition, hundreds of North-East women set out to walk and raise money for cancer charities. Once again, our cast members were delighted to assist in any way they could.

We rounded off the day with performances from our Hairspray cabaret, some hit West End songs and a dazzling burlesque-themed dance from our Vegas dancers.

Katie makes an appearance on BBC Three's 'Hotter than my Daughter'

Katie Milne helped out the girls at Coco Violet in September - filming for BBC 3's 'Hotter than my Daughter'. Liz McClarnon (ex-Atomic Kitten) seemed to like her outfit and said on Twitter: "doing a Jury scene in a cool shop in Aberdeen and I found my alter ego! 'Sandra D' pre Grease make over & 'Sandy' x"

A two-part television adaptation of Terry Pratchett's novel, Going Postal, was broadcast on Sky One earlier this week. It was the third in a series of Terry Pratchett adaptations by Sky One, following The Hogfather and The Colour of Magic.

Phoenix Theatre's Jonnie Milne was lucky enough to be chosen to be an extra and spent a very hot day in August filming in Budapest (as well as meeting Richard Coyle, David Suchet, Andrew Sachs and Tamsin Greig).

Phoenix Theatre were honoured to again be asked to help out at this year's Bling Fling walk at Aberdeen's Duthie Park.

The event was aimed at raising money for local cancer charities and our performers were delighted to help out in any way they could. Whether it was selling raffle tickets or lending a helping hand to clean up, our cast members were there with smiles on their faces.

Following the walk, a number of our corporate dancers wowed the crowd with their latest 'Chicago'-themed cabaret. All-in-all, the day was full of Razzle Dazzle.

A number of Phoenix Theatre's corporate performers must have thought it was their lucky day when they were asked to spend an evening relaxing in their pyjamas in the shop window of Aberdeen's John Lewis!

Not only did they get a calm time chatting on the sofa and reading magazines, they were also treated to makeovers, pizza and had a Nintendo Wii to play with. Sometimes life can be very tough for our dancers!

Phoenix Youth Theatre were delighted to join up with Northsound Radio and other partners for this year's Cash for Kids Santa Appeal.

Some of our youngest pupils were on hand to entertain guests and the public as a Christmas choir, while a few of our older stars kept the day in order as Santa's helpers!

Phoenix Theatre and Phoenix Youth Theatre were proud to be involved in the 'Bling Fling Christmas Thing', a ladies night of entertainment, stalls and fashion shows at the Hilton Treetops Hotel.

Money from the event will be shared between Prof Heys' breast cancer research at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Archway and Children's Cancer Support at Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital.
