Another incredible Bling Fling for Phoenix
Phoenix Theatre were thrilled to once again help out at this year's Bling Fling Charity Walk at Duthie Park.
Our very own Calum Stewart was on MC duties before the walk, providing updates and his own unique style of banter. Later on, the walkers were treated to entertainment in the Winter Gardens, with Phoenix performing both our 'James Bond' and 'Rio Carnival' routines.
From selling raffle tickets to tidying up at the end of the night, our happy helpers had a fantastic day with the girls.
Phoenix juniors advertise Smuggler's Cove
Phoenix Theatre are proud that a number of Phoenix Youth's youngest pupils took part in the TV advert for Codonas Amusement Park's new attraction, Smuggler's Cove.
If our Junior Class pupils are now on TV at the age of 5, their futures are looking bright!
Bizet's Carmen across the North East
Phoenix Theatre and Phoenix Youth Theatre were proud to provide adults and children for the professional tour of Carmen, both at His Majesty's Theatre in Aberdeen and Dundee's Caird Hall.
The dazzling production featured international soloists and the full Chisinau National Philharmonic Orchestra. It was the latest in a long line of operas Phoenix have partnered with Ellen Kent Opera International for and saw a new generation of our performers grace the professional stage.
Paparazzi and Olly Murs make for a happy 18th
Phoenix Theatre were delighted to be able to provide our fabulous paparazzi for the guests arriving at an 18th birthday party at Prego.
Our own Ian Baxter then serenaded the birthday girl with one of her favourite Olly Murs’ songs.
Phoenix Youth dancers to join Strictly stars
Children who attend dance classes at Phoenix Youth Theatre will be performing alongside the stars of 'Strictly Come Dancing' when the tour visits the Music Hall in Aberdeen on Wednesday 17 April.
The children will perform two dance routines, one in each act of the show, to a mix of music medleys, provided by the tour, and choreographed by Phoenix Youth Dance Teacher and Phoenix Theatre Choreographer, Colette Murray.
The 52 children performing, all from Aberdeen and the North East, are aged 8-18 years and attend Phoenix Youth Theatre's acting, singing and dancing classes. Colette is a BA (Hons) graduate of Robert Gordon University and is currently completing her dance studies with the Royal Academy of Dance.

Masquerade at AECC
Phoenix Theatre were delighted to add a touch of mysterious glamour to Subsea 7's evening at the AECC with our masked dancers.
Our hosts welcomed each guest to the arena before kicking the frivolity off with our popular Phantom of the Opera inspired 'Masquerade' routine.
All aboard the SS Petrofac
Phoenix Theatre were delighted to provide the entertainment for Petrofac's nautical dinner at the AECC, with our Titanic-themed routines.
