Our very own Disney princesses

Phoenix Youth Theatre pupils as Frozen’s Anna and Elsa

Phoenix Youth Theatre are delighted to partner up with Codona's Amusement Park in Aberdeen to provide a little Disney magic for the Summer season.

A number of our talented young stars will be on hand to meet and greet the youngsters of the North East each weekend as a selection of Disney princesses. Pictured here are our first pair - Serena Masson and Charlotte Reid as Frozen's Elsa and Anna respectively. What other princesses will be flying in? Head down to Codona's to find out!

A Burns Subsea supper

Phoenix Theatre performers at i-tech 7’s Burns supper

Phoenix Theatre were honoured to be asked to host a Burns Supper at Drum Castle for clients of i-tech 7, a division of Subsea 7.

Throughout the evening, our performers kept spirits high with speeches and songs including "The Selkirk Grace", "The Toast to the Lassies", "To a Mouse" and "Whistle and I'll Come to Ye, My Lad." After dinner, our Musical Director Kevin Haggart continued the entertainment with classical Burns music from the piano and everyone rounded the evening off, in the amazing setting of the Drum Castle Library, with a rousing rendition of "Auld Lang Syne."

Masquerading for Munro's

Phoenix Theatre corporate masquerade performers

Phoenix Theatre were delighted to provide a little mystery and magic to Munro's Travel Group's client night at the Hilton Treetops Hotel in Aberdeen.

After welcoming the guests to the venue, our dancers were the belles of the ball, performing their popular Masquerade routine to a rapt audience.

A Strictly excellent evening

Phoenix Youth Theatre choreographer Colette and assistants with Strictly’s Pasha Kovalev

Phoenix Youth Theatre were delighted to perform alongside 'Strictly Come Dancing' stars Pasha Kovalev and Katya Virshilas at the Aberdeen Music Hall.

For the second year in a row, Phoenix Youth Theatre were asked to provide guest dancers for the 'Strictly' tour, and the children who attend our dance classes were only too happy to oblige. The children were choreographed by Phoenix Youth Dance Teacher and Phoenix Theatre Choreographer, Colette Murray, alongside her assistants Ian Baxter, Liam Urquhart and Arran Mcaskill.

The children, all from Aberdeen and the North East, are aged 8-18 years and attend Phoenix Youth Theatre's acting, singing and dancing classes.

Adding some swing to the 2014 Bling Fling

Phoenix Theatre were thrilled to once again be on hand to help at the sixth annual Bling Fling Charity Walk at Duthie Park.

Following the walk, our dancers treated the walkers to our 'Dirty Dancing' cabaret and four of our young stars gave a sneak preview of a number from Phoenix Youth Theatre's 'The Pajama Game'.

Whether it's assisting with the raffle, tidying up, or dancing the night away, the Bling Fling is always an annual highlight for Phoenix Theatre.
